A friend sent this recipe and said it was great.

WHITE BEAN PESTO – a great alternative to mayo or Miracle Whip; great spread on a sandwich – would also be good tossed with pasta or on a baked potato or as a dip with vegies or crackers, tortilla/pita chips

Yield: 1 1/4 cups

1 cup canned beans (I used cannellini)
1 garlic clove
1 cup fresh basil
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup olive oil
ground pepper
Combine all ingredients in blender or food processor.
