was embarrased as they were rather browned to a lovely black as I got sidetracked...Never fear when tomato lovers are near...they were eaten just like that!!!!!!
My friend said "Are you going to use these for something"?
"No", I replied "I burnt them a bit so they prolly wont make the confit I planned as they are too dried out."
I turned around to deal with the pitas crisping in the oven and when I turned back there was a very guilty looking empty plate sitting on the counter.
She and my DH had polished off everything including the blackened...CRUNCHY...parts!
Life is too short to make all these wonderful sounding recipes! Grandie learner sushi/chef age 10! |
